We have running water!!!

I am so excited to report that we now have running water in the kitchen!!! The countertops were installed yesterday. The guy who did them is awesome. We highly recommend him if you need countertops in the upstate area. Not only did he do a great job with the installation, but he also hooked up our dishwasher, garbage disposal, installed our sink and faucets and hooked up the water lines. He also left the sink cut out that I can use as a cutting board! I'm so excited to be able to start doing some light cooking again. We still have a ways to go before we are completed, but we are on the schedule to have the floors sanded and finished the first week of August!!! In the meantime, we need to get lights installed and the trim and one laundry cabinet finished. We will probably have to move out a week while the floors are being done. Then it will be time to start on the floor in the pool table room. Hopefully that will not take as long - we are putting down laminate because of the concrete floor there. The big challenge will be moving all the books, bookcases and of course the pool table. We might even start that project before the kitchen is completed.
