Kitchen remodel has begun (sort of)

This past weekend, we emptied most of the cabinets and Scott began tearing out the kitchen cabinets. We hoped he would be able to save our current cabinetry and we could have them refinished. The upper cabinets seemed to come down easily enough (I know - easy for me to say since I wasn't the one doing the labor) but the base cabinets wouldn't budge. He only tried the pantry and the desk before his wound started giving him trouble and he had to quit. So as of right now, we are having new cabinets built. We picked out some handles last night and the carpenter is coming Friday to do some final measurements. Then the demolition will begin. Here are the BEFORE pictures of the kitchen.
