Family Day

It was another exciting weekend for us. Scott's workplace had "Family Day" on Saturday. They had a very nice set up with lots of crafts, games and prizes for the children, a nice lunch and an opportunity to tour the plant. We were not allowed to take pictures inside the plant. It was very
neat to be able to see where he works and what he does all day. Easiest description would be that he tests industrial sized breaker boxes. These things weigh several hundred pounds. This was the first time I've been allowed in the plant. Unfortunately, the temperature was very hot that day so we did not stay long. He had worked all week getting the Nova ready for the company car show. Several of the folks that signed up to show their cars did not come. Scott was disappointed (the car show was his idea). The money raised in voting for the "People's Choice" went to Hospice House (also Scott's idea). Scott nor David won a trophy, but the trophy's stayed in the family - sort of. Here is a picture of the Nova (blue), David's Chevy II (red) and the winner of both the show and People's Choice. Then on Sunday, another exciting church service! One of the children in my Sunday School class received the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:4) and another child that was in my class for 2 years and just moved up in February (so I still feel like he's mine) got the Holy Ghost also. What an awesome day. I started to take some pictures but I did not want the flashes to distract those who were praying.
