MARY EMMA COLLINS
Mary Emma Stidham Collins, 84, resident of Magnolia Manor, Greenwood , widow of Clarence L. Collins, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Hospice House.
Born in Edgefield County , she was a daughter of the late Alton and Alice Dorn McCary. She retired from Abney Mills, Grendel Plant, and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two sons, Wayne Collins and his wife, Helen, and Joey Collins and his wife, Pam, all of Ninety Six; grandchildren, Kim Bradberry (Keith), David Collins (Joshlyn), Scott Collins (Rachel), Kelly Calhoun (Scott), Joseph Collins (Sara) and Kayla Collins; great grandchildren, Jennifer Hill, Brandy Collins, Katie Collins, Tyler Neal, Jordan Canfield, Payten Calhoun, Alyssa Calhoun, Baylor Collins and Kenley Collins.
She was the last member of her immediate family and was also preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Penelope Collins.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Page officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens .
Pallbearers will be Keith McCary, Wendell Stidham, Tony Stidham, Ronnie Stidham, T. J. Collins and Roger Collins.
Honorary escort will be Scott Calhoun, Bobby Anthony, Jimmy Buff, Bill McDonald, Bill Hale and Walter Smith.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
