This weekend, Scott laid the hardwood floors. Two of his friends from came and helped him get started, but he did a lot if it by himself. It was slow going - I wasn't much help. I think they look great. He still has a little more along the edges to go. Looks like we are going to have to get a new washer (and dryer if we want them to match) even though we did not want that expense right now. When he moved the washing machine to lay the hardwood, there was wet stain. It looks like it might be oil from the machine because it did not dry like water would. We obviously do not want water nor oil on our new floor. Our upper cabinets are supposed to be installed on Wednesday of this week.
