Firehouse theme ended

This past Sunday ended our Firehouse Sunday School theme. The children had earned "Dalmatian dollars" through out the theme and had earned over 1,000 as a class. We were very proud of their hard work. As part of an object lesson on tithing, we had them "pay tithes" from their earnings. Then yesterday, we set up a store for them to buy toys with their "dollars". Of course we were too busy to take pictures, but I did want to share some of our decorations. These were taken at the beginning of the theme, before the children had started earning things. I will post pictures of our next theme shortly.




We had one recent graduate and one child
in our class get the Holy Ghost during this theme.
We also had at least one child to be renewed
in the Holy Ghost.


For bringing visitors, you earned "dollars"
and had a hat put on the wall. The kids did
great this time - inviting lots of folks to
come to church.


For every memory verse they learned,
the child put a spot on the wall in addition
to earning "dollars." I'm proud to say the
wall had a LOT of black dots by the end.


Our back wall contains the plan
of Salvation - the ultimate fire prevention.


Bringing their Bibles earned them
stickers and "dollars."

Being faithful to class also earned
them "dollars."
